  omg, dad's been calling all day and i've been hiding.

  hubby's finally called him to tell him we don't want to talk about it.

  after hubby had been on the phone with him for almost an hour (he was on the phone outside while i was inside cooking), i hear my dad's voice!

  I find straight talking helps! 'Dad! You're a brainwashed idiot!' My parents usually understand straight talk and then 'Bye!' Always works for me and always keeps them coming back for more.....but only on my terms!

  israel, iran and the united states were the countries with the most negative image.. the survey for the british broadcasting corp.'s world service asked more than 28,000 people to rate 12 countries britain, canada, china, france, india, iran, israel, japan, north korea, russia, the united states and venezuela as having a positive or negative influence on the world.. israel was viewed negatively by 56 per cent of respondents and positively by 17 per cent; for iran, the figures were 54 per cent and 18 per cent.

  ok, so you know about my parents' and my email exchange.

  mom said come to meetings, i was genuine with her and told her why i don't, mom replies with denial of what she just read (like i am a confused baby), then i replied with an email that absolutely takes care of everything.

  from evolution vs creation, to the bible, to jehovah, and the wts.

  Same for me. Except in my case it lets me know that it is a waste of time to dabate with people that believe it to be true.

  I have learned two things on this forum....never argue with crazy people... or Quislings Canadians.

  Justice-1 im surprised you havent been called out on this ridiculous comment.Read your History Books (can you read ok?Bet you play the banjo well...and go "yee-haw"with your good ol, six Guns).

  Canada was behind the Victorious Allies from the word go in 1914-18 and also 1939-45.Especially in the sense of the latter of those two conflicts, it was important that a terrible and vicious Superpower was defeated.Now then,who stayed out of it due to isolationism until two and a half years AFTER the whole thing kicked off?Thats right my dopey Friend ..even you know the answer to that.

  So before you utter your brain dead comments..go see the Canadian Cemeteries at Vimy ridge,Ypres,alamein etc.Most certainly not Quislings.Rather, a brave Nation who sensed Danger from the word go in both World Wars and paid a high price in their losses despite victory!

  a man i knew very well at work, who i even traveled to mexico with on a company trip, is a muslim from afghanistan.

  he told me once, "never trust any muslim, as they will not tell you the truth about themselves until it is too late.

  " i found this interesting as this man was muslim.

  I saw a very poignant interview with a US soldier last week...I was rather surprised that it was even allowed to air.

  He said: "Let's just pull out, let the Iraqi's have their civil war, let them sort things out, and then we can come back in and help them clean up the mess."

  Im not one bit surprised this was allowed to air.What that dumbass Soldier was saying is probably what the Bush administration is thinking "lets pull out..leave them to their mess etc etc...and it will be so much easier to come in and nick their Oil without them defending themselves or blowing us up ,because there will be noone left to fight us."
